IIIT Bangalore conducted a two-day workshop on "Cyber Crime and Forensics" on 14-15 Feb 2020 at the Institute campus. The workshop focused on training the Law Enforcement Officers associated with Cyber Police Stations in the City of Bengaluru on various types of cyber crime, technologies used by cyber criminals, laws associated with cyber crimes including IT Act, procedures and processes to be followed during cyber crime investigations. Total of about 30 officers participated in one of its kind workshop with faculty from IIIT Bangalore including Profs. Sridhar, Tricha Anjali, Vivek Srinivas and Ashish Choudhary and external experts providing the training sessions.
